These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Ajwa mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Ajwa ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Ajwa. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement. We reserve the right to close any account that we believe belongs to a person under 18.

2. Your account

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your profile and to keep it up to date.
  • You may not create more than one account, or create an account on behalf of someone else without their consent.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Post false, misleading, or deceptive information.
  • Harass, threaten, intimidate, or harm other users.
  • Send unsolicited or spam messages.
  • Post explicit, obscene, or sexually graphic content.
  • Impersonate another person or entity.
  • Violate any applicable law or regulation.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or other users' accounts.
  • Use the Service for any commercial purpose without our written consent.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you post on Ajwa (photos, profile text, messages). By posting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and display it solely for the purpose of operating the Service.

You are solely responsible for the content you post. You represent that you have the right to post it and that it does not violate anyone else's rights or these Terms.

5. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

6. Service availability

We aim to keep Ajwa available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.

7. Reporting, blocking and content moderation

You may block any user at any time. You may report any user whose behaviour violates these Terms using the flag icon on their profile. We review all reports personally and aim to respond within 24 hours. Accounts found to violate our community standards are suspended or permanently removed.

Profile photos are private by default — visible only to mutually connected users. Reported photos are reviewed by the Ajwa team. Photos containing nudity, explicit material, violence, or content involving minors are removed immediately and the account is permanently banned.

8. Termination

We may suspend or permanently close your account if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in conduct that harms other users or the Service. You may delete your account at any time from within the app.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We make no warranty that the Service will meet your expectations or that connections made through the Service will lead to any particular outcome.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ajwa shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
